How do I use the YNA ENURESIS?

  • Push the complete sensor (consisting of the white sensor housing and the blue strap) into the pad and nap it into the pants.
  • Before going to bed, your child puts on the pants with the inserted pad, and presses the button on the blue reciever unit.
  • As soon as urine flows, the alarm rings and wakes the child, who then stops passing water. The child presses the button to switch off the alarm, goes to the toilet, and afterwards takes the sensor from the pad, washes blue strap under the warm tap, dries it carfully, and inserts it into a fresh pad.
  • The child can then return to bed and sleep.
  • Switch off the receiver the next morning.

Continue the therapy until there is a period of at least 14 days during which the child has no longer wet himself or herself.

Dosimetric Evaluation of Enuresis-Bedwetter device

Two samples of the Enuresis-Bedwetter device were evaluated in accordance with the requirements for limited electro-magnetic-field-exposure defined in " Guidelines for Limiting Exposure to Time-Varying Electris, Magnetic, and Electromagnetic Fields (up to 300 GHz)", April 1998 (1) wich where defined by the international Comission for Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) as well as ANSI/IEEE recommendations given in "IEEE Standard for Safety Levels with Respect to Human Exposures to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields 3kHz to GHz", April 1992. The study was performed in the Laboratory of the Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT'IS) in Zurich.

In conclusion, the exposure of the tested Enuresis-Bedwetter device was found to be less than one promille of the safety requirements of ICNIRP (1) as well as of ANSI/IEEE (2) and therefore in full compliance with these regulations.
